Amazing Grace – One Of The Best Worship Songs

For a long time I have been thinking which is my favorite worship song. Many times I asked my self which worship song would I choose if I had to pick only one. Though this seems easy at first it turned out to be quite a problem as there are many great Christian worship songs that I absolutely love to listen over and over again.

Well after a short period of time I have decided that my favorite worship song of all times is Amazing Grace, this song always makes me happy and brings a bright light and hope into my life. Perhaps some of you will say that this song is overrated and quite popularized in the Western society, but I do not care for such observations, as long as the song makes me feel good I will love to listen to it.

Easy Worship Songs – Tags

Ever heard the saying, “sometimes simple is better”? This is often the case with worship. Easy worship songs, or tags, can sometimes be the most powerful part of a worship set.

What Are EASY WORSHIP SONGS (Tags)?

These are the songs that are usually only 2-4 lines long and 3-4 chords progressions.

Some may consider them a little bit too basic, but as I mentioned, “sometimes simple is better”. A few examples of easy worship songs would be:

Awesome God
Our God is an awesome God
He reigns from heaven above
With wisdom power and love
our God is an awesome God

Notice how it is nice and easy, making it really easy for anyone in the congregation to pick up after hearing it just once or twice.

Why Are Easy Worship Songs So Powerful?

Have you ever noticed how powerful these simple tags can be? I think the main reason for this is the repetition. If you are singing a normal worship song with the standard verse, chorus, bridge structure then you usually are only singing each section a maximum of 2-3 times. Whereas with a tag you could end up singing those 4 lines 20-30 times. This gives you a lot of time to really listen to what the words are saying, allowing you to make them your own!
